Nigerian Dwarf does usually kid about 145 days after breeding, a few days sooner than the 150 days typical of full-size goats. Most kid somewhere between day 140 and day 150, so start watching closely from about day 140.
This miniature dairy breed is known for large litters for its size. Twins and triplets are common, and quads are not unusual in mature does. Kids are small, often only about 2–3 lb at birth, so a doe that looks only moderately round may still be carrying three.
Unlike most dairy breeds, Nigerian Dwarfs can cycle year-round rather than only in fall and winter. That lets breeders plan kidding for almost any month, and it also means an unplanned breeding can happen in spring or summer if a buck gets in with the does.

Enter the breeding date, or the day the buck went in and the day he came out if they ran together. The Nigerian Dwarf preset (145 days) is already selected. Switch to another breed only if the sire or dam is a different breed.
