How it works
Goats carry their kids for about 150 days (roughly 5 months), with a normal range of about 145 to 155 days. Smaller breeds such as Nigerian Dwarfs often kid a few days earlier. Twins are the most common litter, though first-time does often have singles and some breeds regularly have triplets.
How to use it
Pick the breeding date. If the buck ran with the doe for several days, enter the day he went in as the breeding date and the day he came out as the end date. The window then covers every possible kidding day. Choose a breed if you know it; otherwise use the average.
